A standard diagnostic session is up to 45 minutes. Many common faults are identified within this time.

Repair times vary depending on the job. Straightforward replacements — batteries, brake pads, sensors — are typically completed in under an hour. More involved work such as timing belt replacement or cooling system repairs takes longer. We will give you a realistic time estimate when confirming the booking.

Pricing & Guarantee

What are your call-out and diagnostic fees?
We charge a fixed £30 call-out fee and £50 for a full 45-minute diagnostic session — £80 combined.

If the repair proceeds, the £30 call-out is deducted from the labour charge. You always receive a written quotation before any repair work begins. No hidden costs, no surprises.

Do repairs come with a warranty?
Yes. All repairs carried out by Mechapro are covered by a workmanship guarantee. Parts supplied are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

If an issue arises that is directly related to work we have carried out, we will inspect and resolve it in line with our warranty terms. The guarantee does not cover unrelated faults, normal wear and tear, or parts supplied by the customer.

What payment methods do you accept?
